in conjunction with EUC 2008

Shanghai, China, December 17 - 20, 2008 ===============================================================

With the proliferation of wireless technologies, there is a fast growing interest in Ubiquitous Environments (UE). UE enables to create a human-oriented computing environment where computer chips are embedded in everyday objects and interact with physical world.
With a great potential to revolutionize our lives, UE also poses new research challenges. This symposium will focus on the challenges and solutions for UE with an emphasis on trust-worthiness, reliability, and services.

The symposium will provide an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues and progress in the area of UE.
The symposium will publish high quality papers which are closely related to the various theories and practical applications in UE. In addition, we expect that the symposium and its publications will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements in this important subject.
